It's been a while since I've updated this profile, and thought it was time now that Nikki and I are again proud parents of our second son, Nathan James (b. 8/7/07, same day Bonds broke the HR record.) We commonly refer to him as Kid II, but Nate also works. I claim that Nate's middle name was for Sweet Baby James, but Nikki insists it was after her great-grandfather. Whatever the case, he's a very cute kid and his older brother, Ben, seems to like him also (finally).
We have been in our house in Daybreak for a little over a year and love the booming city feel. If you ever want to be part of a ward with five nurseries of 20 kids each, this is the place.
Nikki is working on getting an agent for her first book, of which I'm a big fan. Although the story is meant for young adults, I feel I'm ready to step up my reading level.
I am enjoying life as a bean counter and am gearing up for another busy season in January. Besides my family and working in the yard, other interests include Yankees, Yankees, and oh yeah, the Yankees. My bro-in-law (Met's fan) and I will be living in New York next September to frequent both parks before the two teams move to new stadiums in 2009.
