Currently finishing up my MA in Comparative Studies at BYU. Having a blast doing it: got to teach the Romanian 340 course this last summer and I'm the stand-in advisor for the BYU Romanian Club while Anca Sprenger is in Paris. Finishing up my thesis and applying to PhD programs in Comparative Literature, with my languages and emphases in English, French, and Romanian. The past couple of years has been a lot of classes, a film shoot in Romania, organizing conferences on Europe, teaching Humanities courses, and taking my wife on a four week honeymoon to Europe.
Personal life: Holly Parker and I were married in January 2005 and have had a wonderful first, nearly, two years together. We just had our first little girl, Hannah Aimee Hansen (middle name is french for "Beloved"). I would love to hear from anyone. |
