Hi Everyone,
Here are a couple of updates from Pres. Morrey regarding the health or Sister Morrey. Thanks to Kirsten Abel to getting this information.
"Thank you for your continued concern about Barbara. She is now home from the Huntsman Cancer Center. Although the operation to remove the glioblastoma was successful, she was too weak to continue with radiation and chemo. Some days are good, others not so good, but she is still fighting to extend her life. Today was tough in the morning but good this evening. We live and cherish each day at a time and are confident that The Lord’s will is for our eternal benefit."
"Thank you for your interest in Sister Morrey. She is now home struggling with her malady. The operation was considered successful but she was too weak to continue with radiation and chemo. Maybe that will follow later when we build up her strength and determination. In the last diagnosis, the cancer will take her life unless the Lord performs a miracle outside that powers of medical knowledge.
We were surprised yesterday to receive a lovely, touching letter from President Eyring. It brightened our day.
Whatever happens, we are prepared to accede to the Lord’s will with full faith that whatever happens will be in our best eternal lives."
