Our Life through 2007: Glad I found the site! I returned home to Utah, then went back to visit Russia in '98. Met Sophia Voitanik at Utah State; we married in 2001. I volunteered at the SLC Olympics working with the Kyrgyz team in '02. We are now in Seattle, where Sophie is most of the way through the Political Science Ph.D. program at the UW. I work in the Operations group at Cell Therapeutics, where we hope to, "make cancer more treatable." I just returned from Tajikistan, where I got my wife settled in to complete her dissertation research. No kids yet (apparently it's just not a good thing to bring young children to Tajikistan), but we plan on some real soon.
I would love to hear from any and all Rostov alumni/members. I haven't heard any news from the mission for far too long!

LDS QUOTE:
"You are a great army of returned missionaries. Go forward with new zeal and determination, and through your example shine the light of the gospel in this troubled world. This is the Lord's work in which we are engaged. God lives. Jesus is the Christ. We belong to His Church. This is my witness to you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
- Elder L. Tom Perry
Ensign, Nov. 2001
