Time to update!
I graduated from BYU in International Relations with a specialty in Middle East Studies in 2008 after 5 years interrupted 3 times because of oversea missions for the French Army.
I finished my service as an officer after having served multiple deployments to the Former-Yugoslavia and to Afghanistan.
I work now in Tajikistan with the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in border management.
It has been quite strange to live in Tajikistan, a former Soviet Republic, because of its similitude with Russia. My boss is Russian and we get along very well.
The Church is not registered here and thus I have received the authorization by the Area Presidency to hold sacrament meetings at home for our family. The Presidency has been very clear that we should not speak about the Church at all! Very tough, especially when people ask you daily “where did you learn Russian?”
Elodie and I love our life in Tajikistan despite the challenges that you may understand, especially with the hygiene.
We have 3 children: Eva 7, Jerome 5, and Lynn 4 months. Eva and Jerome are attending a local Tajik school in the mornings and Elodie teaches them the French curriculum on the afternoons.
Please, drop us a line or two… We would be delighted to hear from you.

LDS QUOTE: |
"You are a great army of returned missionaries. Go forward with new zeal and determination, and through your example shine the light of the gospel in this troubled world. This is the Lord's work in which we are engaged. God lives. Jesus is the Christ. We belong to His Church. This is my witness to you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
