I live in northern Utah. I have four kids. My oldest daughter is serving in the Rostov Mission 3/13 - 10/14. She is one of the 19 yr old girls who sent in her papers in Nov right after the announcement and when she turned 19. I am the YW president in my ward. My 2nd child and boy will leave in one year for his mission. Having a missionary is the best thing ever. We have seen her grow spiritually in ways I couldn't even imagine. I am grateful to be a mormon and I have a strong testimony of this gospel. For any other moms, I am connected to a missionary moms email site. It is a great way to keep in touch with other moms specifically those who have children serving in the same mission. We share concerns, joy, love, helpful info., pictures and support one another. Email me if you are a family member and want to join or would like to find info about someone in the Rostov mission. My daughter has served in Zapadny, Rostov Center and is now in Krasnodar. |
