Jay and I love DC! Our two girls love their school and keep busy with harp and piano. They also play soccer, run with an after-school team, and pester us daily to get a dog. (We're still holding out.) When Jay is at work and the girls are at school, I'm usually writing, doing laundry, or teaching classes in art history. These days I'm also working in Primary which is possibly the best calling in the church. The girls have taken over the performing in the family and play harps in the Kennedy Center next month. My goal this week is to sufficiently moderate my culinary disasters to prevent the fire alarm going off more than twice. Someday we'll make it back to Utah, but for now, life is good! |
