I finished my master of social work degree at Columbia University in 2003. I decided NYC was a nice place to visit, but I didn't want to live there anymore, so I moved back to SLC. Currently, I am working for a private non-profit called the Utah Health & Human Rights Project. I work with refugees who are survivors of political torture and war trauma. My clients are incredible people from Afghanistan, Liberia, Somalia, Bosnia, Ethiopia, and Iraq. They teach me so much and help me maintain perspective. I feel very blessed to work with them! |
