Two boys - Alex (4) and Ashton (2)
Two years ago we moved back to Utah where I have been running the company that I started after grad school. Things have gone well and we now have operations spread throughout the US and Canada. It has been pretty busy and stressful, but now that we are past the startup phase, life has been much more enjoyable.
Last year I returned with my wife to St. Petersburg. So much has changed, but so much is still the same. When we were leaving, we got stopped by the airport police and detained because our visas had "problems". It took $100 to get us out of the situation, but we still made our flight home.
I still believe that there is substantial business opportunity there...if you can get past the corruption.
Anyone interested in seeing the "scar" pictures? I found them the other night...and man did they bring back memories. Maybe I will write the hospital story and post it so that my old friends and companions can enjoy the saga. |
