Comments:
I was born in Northern Rhodesia (Zambia) and raised in Salisbury Rhodesia (Harare, Zimbabwe), so I know some of you from your time as missionaries in my home town.

Also served with Kent Gardener, Gordon Ball and Robert Ray Borland who are not listed here.
My wife Barbara Fry may be familiar to some of you as she lived in Cape Town between 1972 and 1974.
Her mother was one of the faithful missionary feeder in Mowbray Branch.
We have 4 kids. The oldest just got married in the Washington DC Temple at the end of June. We have twins in the middle, one boy one girl, and another son. The unmarried sons are both on missions.

Some of you served in Salisbury and met my mother Julia Shaw.
She will be 96 this year and lives in Easton Pennsylvania.
Some may also have met my Brother Alec. He joined the church immediately after I came to the US to BYU and has 4 kids of his own.
He now lives in American Fork and is married to the former Pat Ryall from Bulawayo.

I am now serving as 2nd Councilor in the Nazareth Ward Young men's presidency.

I graduated from BYU in 1981 with an MSEE and came to the East Coast to work at Bell Labs. Unfortunately it almost doesn't exist anymore. I work at LSI which merged with Agere which was a spin off from Lucent Technologies which spun off from AT&T (which is also almost non-existent). I have been with these pieces for over 25 years.

I would love to hear from any of you. Please press the send email button and keep in touch.
