After returning home from my mission, I attended Ricks College for 2 1/2 years. I married my wife, Tari, in the summer of 1995 and in the fall we went to BYU. While attending BYU we had our first two children, Kaleb (now 8) and Jalin (almost 7). We graduated in 1999 and returned home to Washington where we have lived ever since.
I have been teaching high school English at Washington High School for the past 7 years where I am currently the department head as well as an assistant coach in girl's basketball and tennis (easy money). In the meantime, we have added 2 more children to our family, Kyle (5), and Aubrey (20 months) and 2 years ago we purchased the home that I grew up in. I completed my Master's degree last spring and I'm now seriously contemplating a career in high school administration.
I have been teaching the 13 and 14 year old Sunday school class since we've been in the ward (2 years) and I also serve as the Perfecting the Saints committee chairman. In my previous wards I have served as Sunday school teacher, young men's president, and Elder's quorum president (they were really hurting). |
