Was an Independent Duty Medic (IDMT) in the Air Force. AF career took me to two stateside assignments (Survival School - Fairchild AFB [Spokane], Washington, and Nellis AFB [Las Vegas], Nevada), and one overseas assignment (Volkel Air Base, The Netherlands), as well as all over the world: Ireland, UAE, Puerto Rico, Grenada, Korea, Bosnia, Germany, Italy, Luxemburg, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Kuwait, Iraq, and more. Retired in Oct '03; the last six months of which was spent in the current conflict (involved in things not so good, and good things as well.....have seen the best and worst of humanity)

Two kids married, one away at college and almost engaged, and four (plus a nephew) still at home. Just built a six bedroom home on 10 acres, and busy getting back to my roots (ranching) and learning about breeding/selling Australian Cattle Dogs (red and blue heelers). Also, just opened a tanning salon and day spa. As often as we can, we escape to our summer home on Lake Murray in the great state of South Carolina!! When I'm not playing "Papa" to our three handsome grandsons and beautiful granddaughter, I am serving as the Idaho State Captain in the Patriot Guard Riders organization. It has evolved into a passion; humbling to look into the eyes of a grieving mother of a fallen soldier and attempt to offer words of solace.....

Life has turned out well! Would like to reconnect with folks I knew from way-back-when! We are in the phone book; if you find yourselves in or near Twin Falls, call . . .(or email: DesertDoc_Idaho @ yahoo.com)
