| Comments: After my release, I attended UCLA for one semester (hated it) then I transferred to BYU (loved it) and graduated in June 1981. I met Dominique Cael from St. Die, France (Belgium-Brussels Mission) while we were in the BYU 71st Ward and was sealed to her in the Los Angeles Temple on July 31, 1981. (Yes, I've spent the past 31 years assuring everyone that we did NOT meet while I was on my mission!) I attended Medical School at Texas A&M University (Gig 'em, Aggies!), Ob/Gyn Residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center (Philadelphia), and Reproductive Endocrinology Fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. I've been on the Medical School Faculty and in private practice in Rockford, IL since 1993. We have 4 children (Stephanie 29, Marc 26, Shane 24, and Christopher 22 - just called to serve in the Norway-Oslo Mission). They have all graduated from various universities. Our daughter was married on November 19, 2005 in the Mount Timpanogas Temple. Our son Marc was married by the Justice of the Peace (but to a wonderful girl) in August of 2008. They made me a grandfather on April 14, 2012. I'm a High Priest and 2nd Counsellor in the Bishopric of the Rockford 2nd Ward, Rockford IL Stake. The Chicago Temple is one hour from here. The Nauvoo Temple is 4 hours away. We split our vacation time between visiting my family in California and Domi's family in France. | |
