| Did anyone else have a flashback during Elder Holland's stirring talk on Peter at the October 2012 general conference? He did something that general authorities rarely do: he paraphrased the scriptures--instead of strictly citing them--to get behind the meaning and to bring the situation to life. I was immediately taken back to Zone conference 1978 when President Stevens toured the mission paraphrasing Peter just as Elder Holland did. "Oh well. So much for that that. I'm going fishing." | |

Does anyone still have a copy of the Mission cookbook? I must have left mine in some apartment in France when I moved! I'd like to borrow one and xerox it, but more immediately I'd like to get the recipe for Carrot Cake from it! Thanks! |

Prenez votre appareil photo numérique et de photographier vos anciennes photos. Vous serez surpris de qualité des photos. Si vous avez la capacité de votre appareil photo numérique, puis tirez une courte vidéo de vous et votre famille en disant bonjour, votre nom, quelle branche vous étiez en cours de 1976 à 1982. Il suffit de garder le court. N'oubliez pas de zoom en étroite afin que nous puissions voir vos visages. Si vous avez des diapositives, SVP me contacter pour obtenir des instructions sur la façon de photographier les diapositives avec un appareil photo numérique. Mes cher frères et sœurs, Une réunion de La Mission Française de L’Est va se produire au mois d’avril 2011 pour célébrer le cinquantième anniversaire de l’établissement de la Mission. Sera en connexion avec la conférence générale de l’Eglise en avril de l’année prochaine. Alors, c’est pour vous avertir afin d’être prêt d’y assister à Salt Lake City. Si il-y-a parmi vous qui avez les coordonnées de quelqu'un qui s’intéresse d’y assister, veuillez nous les transmettre à moi-même et à Daniel Bates pour que nous puissions les envoyer l’invitation. Nous voudrions bien inclure tous les missionnaires ainsi que membres de l’époque de notre mission. | Does Anyone know of a current map of the mission boundaries? I know it has changed over the last 20 years, and I have a Sister Missionary in my ward that Just received her call (MTC Entry August 2008) and was curious as to what all the Geneva Mission took in now. | |
