| Comments: What a blessing to have been able to serve in the Switzerland Geneva Mission. Now as my four children are growing, two in college at BYU, and the many memories I have been able to experience during the past 25 years, I believe life would not be what it is without the memories of the mission...the places, the people, the fellow missionaries all left a profound impact. This past year I was fortunate to return to Europe with my family and show them some of the towns I served in. While the cote d'azure is still lovely, the mountains of Switz still magnificent, the temples visited were of course heavenly...nothing compared with being able to visit with a family that was baptized and seeing their family now and that they are strong in the church in the Lyon area. Thank you to all who gave me memories many years ago and throughout the years since. Update 2008: My oldest received her mission call to Uruguay, leaving Oct 1. I now have a daughter at BYU and one at UVU. Last year we took the family to Israel which was great. I was able to ordain my son a priest at Jerusalem, pretty amazing feelings. I realized you never can walk where Jesus walked unless you walk with Him in your heart, then we always walk with Him. | |
