I have three children, Gavin (5), Cosette (2) and Jazmine (5,currently in our guardianship). I served in the USAF and retired in April 2006. I'm a consultant for the Dept of Defense/US Navy in San Diego, CA. I love my job and love where I live.
I frequently think of my mission with great fondness. While I don't remember the names of all the Elders and members I served with, their faces, testimonies and spirit are emblazened in my soul. I miss Switzerland, Austria and Germany and have a deep and abiding love and respect for the people I served and taught.
I have had the pleasure to serve in nearly every calling possible at the ward level including Elders Quarum couselor, Sunday School President, Bishopric counselor, High Priest Group Leader, Deacons quarum advisor, Assistant Scout Master, Sunday School Teacher, Ward Mission Leader, and Primary teacher. My favorite calling was as a youth Sunday School Teacher.
I'm excited to return to Switzerland, Germany and Austria with my wife in July 2008. |
