| Comments: Marion and I were married 11 weeks after my return from the islands and have spent the last 32 years raising our 2 sons and 4 daughters. Our oldest son, Sam, and his wife, Marta, have our 2 granddaughters. Sam served a mission in Haiti and Matt one in Quezon, Phillippines, so we are all tropical missionaries. Sam graduated from BYU, married a lady from Maine, and is now at the U of Toronto pursuing his M.A. Matt and his wife attend the U of Western Ontario, as do Shelley and Melissa. Sarah is in Grade 13, Marianne in 12. Every month when the church bulletin with missionary opportunities is posted, I search for the needs of the Tahitian mission and then remind my wife that it is only a matter of time til we both go to the islands to do some more work. Marion loves music so will fit in well. I am a perpetual financial clerk, stake auditor and teacher. My working kife has been spent as an accountant and finance manager, so I have been able to use talents developed in my career to help the church units with their | |
