Comments: I served a young mission in Tahiti in 1970 under a great mission president, Ralph J. Richards with his beautiful wife Shauna and their children. This was the turning point in my life, having been a recent convert to the Church. Then in 1993, with my wife and five children we served a mission in Tahiti with many wonderful young missionaries and couple missionaries from Tahiti, the U.S.A. and other great nations of the world. How blessed we are for having been associated in this great work with so many friends. Today (Feb. 09) we have 4 grandsons. Vera, Roland, and Olivia are married. Paul just returned from his mission, is a student at BYU-Provo, and John--our last child--will enter university in a few months. Antonina and I are doing well, aging normally and enjoying life, the Church, and our little life in Utah where I work for the Church magazines.
We love every missionary that has ever served in French Polynesia and we are filled with gratitude for all they have done to bless these islands and their people with the gospel of Jesus Christ. |
