I recently remmarried. between us we have 14 children. I have 8 children: Adam (21), Jeremy (19), Matthew (16), Hannah (14), Rachel (12), Mariah (9), Kayla (7) and Jacob (5); and Tammy has 6 children Paul (22), John (20), Schuyler (18), Rachael (15), Austin (10) and Kira (8). I have lived in Mesa Arizona since 1987. Before that I was in New York for 3 years while I attended law school at Columbia University. Before I that was at BYU.
I am currently serving as an assistant scoutmaster. Much of my church and community service has been in or closley related to the scouting program, including serving as scoutmaster for 6 years, a counselor in several bishoprics (which incuded significant responsibilities in the scouting programs of the ward), stake young mens president, counselor in stake young mens presidency, cubmaster, and stake athletic director.
I have served on staff for several Wood Badge training programs for the Boy Scouts of America, including as course director/scoutmaster last year.
I vistited China for a couple of weeks two years ago and look forward to going back. I have not kept up my study of Chinese as I had hoped but continue to set that goal as a new years resolution each year. Maybe one of these years it will take. |
