EDUCATION AND CAREER: MBA from BYU; Investment Banking with Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York City; then on to my true desire of teaching Seminary and Institute with the Church Educational System (CES). Doctorate degree in educational administration from the Univ. of Utah. For the past 3 years I've been at the Church Office Building in Salt Lake City as the CES Director of Training and, currently, as an Administrative Assistant. Part of my assignment includes the Perpetual Education Fund and travels to Central and South America and the Caribbean. No, I didn't speak much Mandarin there.
GENERAL: Greetings to one and all! It was great to see so many of you at our recent reunion. I look forward to the next one. Glad to see you are still my brethren and sisters in the Lord.... There are four returned missionaries from Taiwan in our ward and it's fun to get together for some good Chinese food and sharing of stories. One of them, Chad Lewis, has done some recent travel in China representing the National Football League. He's paving the way for all of us! |
