Comments: After returning from Taiwan, I spent 2 years at Eastern Arizona College then on to BYU where I met my wife Pamela, who had just returned from a mission to Hong Kong (79-80). We have four sons (82, 84, 88, 90). After BYU we moved back to Arizona where I worked in a hospital laboratory for 6 years.
In 1988 I changed careers and have worked for Electronic Data Systems (EDS) since. We have lived in California (6 months), Texas (7 years), Washington (1.5 years) and finally back home to Arizona (in 1997).
It is good to see this site getting some attention. Thanks to Scott Cunningham for all the work he has done the past several years on the previous site and now this one!!
I've remained active in the church, serving as Bishop, Stake Missionary/WML, Ward Clerk, Elders Quorum, High Council and currently as Stake YM President. It was great fun in Texas where we had a companionship of Mandarin speaking Elders in our stake and I had the opportunity to teach with them a few times....my chinese is pretty rusty!!
I have a son currently serving in the Utah Provo Mission, so keep your eyes open for an Elder Layton. |
