Ahh, the life in Midway Utah goes on! My wife Andrea, our little one that's testing my patience 'cause I want to know if it's a boy or a girl - and I are lovin' life up here in the most beautiful place to live in the world! There hasn't been a day go by that I haven't been thankful for the relationships that I developed in Taiwan, for the things that I was taught by the people or for the things that the Lord did to help burnish away my patina of pride... which apparently didn't work too well... I'd just like to say "I was made in Taiwan"... to all of the elders and sisters that influenced me and to a wise mission president that told me down in my "fiery furnace of affliction, Dong Gang" that "It isn't worth the powder to blow it all to hell!"
With that in mind, I'd just like to say that I love you President Young, and I look forward to our joyful reunion in the eternities! |
