Hey there, I am looking for Sherry A. Fowler a ward member from the Maryville Ward which is south of Knoxville about 25 miles. I have lost track of her and her family. She did a lot for the missionaries all the time and I would like to get back in touch with her. My info: 97031@gorge.net and cell: 541-490-3327. Thanks

Several years ago when I was going through a nasty divorce... Elder Croad Would come by my house and check on me... He talked with me and let me know that I would survive. I totally give him credit for my being alive today... If anyone knows him or knows of him.... please let him know that Susie from Kingsport Tn, wants him to know how much it meant for him to be there for me.

Hi RM's!
We at Clinch River Ward found a Quad that belongs to a Sister named Katie. There is no last name on them to identify. And, we aren't sure how long ago she served in Clinch River but there is a notation in the BOM dated 3/11/02. The priesthood has asked me to see if I could locate the owner since I was with the Sisters while they were in Clinch River (we now have Elders.) Any info, please, let me know!
THANKS!
Cheryll

Dear Elders and Sisters who labored in Abingdon. VA.,
I just got off the phone with Teni Joyner in Damascus, VA. She is not doing very well, and isn't expected to live much longer. Her good news was that she just went to the Washington D.C. Temple and received her endowments. She feels she is all prepared to return to our Heavenly Father. Teni will be missed dearly. Her wishes are for her family to throw a partywhen she passes through the veil, so no funeral services will be held.

I just received my mission call to serve the Lord in Knoxville, Tennessee and I will have the opportunity to teach the gospel in the Spanish language. I am excited and I am looking forward to dedicating the next two years of my life to the Lord and His work. For all those that read this, I have a question. What type of shirt do you recommend that I purchase? 100% cotton? 50/50? Please let me know, I will greatly appreciate it. I am sure I will have more questions to ask as the time draws near but until then, I hope all of you have a wonderful day!

If any of you would like a picture of her and her family, please let me know. I know a lot of Elders and Sisters have worked with her.

The mission itself is the whole eastern Tennessee area covering a small portion of Southeast Kentucky, Southwest Virginia, Northeast Alabama and Northwest Georgia. Once you get into the mission they will give you an actual map of how big the mission is, that's if you have not already received a letter from your mission president. In the southern portion of the mission, you'll be dealing with people that are into the Church of Christ denomination, which is holy rollers and pentecostal type of christian religion. When you serve in Knoxville or north of Knoxville, you'll be dealing more with Southern Baptists. In Kingsport, Johnson City, Virginia, and KY, you get a combination of Southern Baptists and Pentecostal. Ah, those were the days. Some days, I do miss my mission.

Hi everyone!!
The Lord has finally called me to serve Him on a mission to the Tennessee Knoxville mission!! and I'm so grateful!! I love Him for it cause shoo..the farthest I've been is SLC, Utah (lol@dat..). Anyhow, I'm skeptical of myself because I don't know how or what to prepare myself for... Don't get me wrong..I'm somewhat prepared but I just want to know what the mission is like.
There's barely any info. on here on what the Tennessee Knoxville mission is like so I was wondering, can anyone feel me in??? Well thanks a bunch!

The Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley in December 2003 Called me to Serve as a Spanish Speaking Missionary for the people of Knoxville Tennessee. I will do my best to do all that has been requested of me. I have been preparing since the pre-existence to serve my Heavenly Father to establish his Kingdom with people of good intentions. The greatness and the glory will be known to the kindred of every tounge, language, and culture. For the Lord will gather his lost sheep for they may reep his reward. I say all this things and I pray that I may be worthy companionship of the Holy Ghost, Even Jesus Christ Amen.

I just wanted to write and let everyone know How blessed Jarrod and I have been in the last two weeks. Some of you might not think this to be a blessing because you see, we lost our dear sweet maddison. she returned home to our heavenly father. her life was not to stay but to gain a body ane returnWe had a perfect little angel. Jarrod and I have had great peace, Love, support, and comfort. I have felt the saviors love more in the last two weeks than I ever have. Yes it has been hard, But the spirit has been in our home and we know that someday we will see her again, and we will be able to hug her and kiss her and do all those things we weren't able to do. This I know.....because of the gospel we will see her again.......god be with all of you in your times of need..

I too just found this site and wish to put out the word that I am seeking people I served with and around (sisters included (c:). FYI: I am currently married to a babe, Elder Buck Kolz' little sister. He too was from Fruita, Colorado. We have a little boy named Dylan and he's chillin' in his swing. (c: I would like to hear from you all, about the things happening in your life, especially Henry Hoeft. What's up with the sisters and elders marrying eachother in this mission, what's that about locking your hearts????? (c: Just kidding, peace out, Dustan

Just wanted to let those of you that served in Dalton know that on Sunday the Dalton Ward will be split. A new branch is going into Chatsworth. All our new Spanish language missionaries are paying off. (Were up to 20+ Spanish language Elders and Sisters).
Brad and Donna Spencer
Morristown, TN
P.S. If you served long and hard in Morristown over the years, one of those hardcore dry Mormons we have, Brian Gerasimos, was finally baptized this morning. I know Sandy and her family say thanks for the fellowshipping, teaching, and PATIENCE.
