I married my long-time best friend, Kevin Henderson. We have 4 gorgeous boys Cole (10), Cade (7), Clark (5), and Camden (2) who are a lot of work but we just can't beat the entertainment they provide.
We live in the South San Francisco Bay area in the Silicon Valley were my husband works as an EE geek (RF test engineer) developing tests for a leading high-tech company. He enjoys ham radio, his motorcycle, and playing with his boys.
I am a SAHM and this keeps me eternally busy but I do take time to enjoy my many hobbies such as training my awesome dogs, riding the Ninja (which I will inherit as soon as I can convince Kevin he NEEDS to buy himself a better bike) LOL, working on my websites, showing our rabbits with Cade, and volunteering at our local animal shelter. Though all too rare, I also enjoy hiking, camping, kayaking, fishing and travel.
The boys are into Scouts, Legos (Bionicles), 4H and their favorite tv channels are Discovery Channel (Mythbusters, Dirty Jobs, and How it is Made) and Food Network.
We have several pets: two dogs, two cats, two Leopard Geckos, and our Grand Champion Jersey Wooly rabbits.
Life has been difficult for us (go figure) but we have found satisfaction and increased peace as we work on improving our family by living the gospel better than we did the day before.
I'd LOVE to hear from any companions or district elders (Watson, Haines, any elders me and my companions played practical jokes on...). You are all fondly remembered. |
