The climate is moderately cool and wet. Because of the location on the water, sandwiched between two mountain ranges, there is a bit of rain-which is no problem if you like being wet. But from May to October all that time under the clouds pays off. With the sun shining on all the green life, Washington becomes as the Garden of Eden. There are towering deciduous and evergreen trees everywhere, lining the streets and filling in the spaces between neighborhoods. There are snow capped mountains, glacier lakes, waterfalls, rivers, beautiful hard wood rain forests teeming with life and everything else that makes the Pacific Northwest an outdoorsman's paradise.
A warning...look out for the moss and slugs, they are slippery!

LDS QUOTE: |
"You are a great army of returned missionaries. Go forward with new zeal and determination, and through your example shine the light of the gospel in this troubled world. This is the Lord's work in which we are engaged. God lives. Jesus is the Christ. We belong to His Church. This is my witness to you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
