Moved back to Cache Valley (Northern Utah) about 18 months ago. Two awesome roommates (who can do anything on a horse). Love my job...because I like food and students – and I get paid :). Still enjoy the outdoors (hiking, camping, biking, rodeos, etc), being with family and friends, and hearing from people I haven't seen for a long time. Teaching 7 five-year-old boys in Primary and in charge of Girls Camp this summer (after 10 years in Singles Wards, I decided to move on).
Things I've Learned...
- We’re stronger than we think we are – especially when we have to be.
- There are a lot of things in life that just don’t matter – and a handful of things that really do.
- It’s a bad idea to buy a house and a horse in the same week (especially when you’re poor to begin with!)
- Getting an advanced degree doesn't make you any smarter -- it just kills brain cells!
- Husbands are hard to find :). |
