Well, this past Mother's Day, I had the opportunity to speak in sacrament, sing in sacrament, and play the violin in sacrament for the closing hymn. I was pretty nervous, but i'm glad I got the opportunity to speak about my mother. She is a convert and went through many challenges with her family because she joined the church. I am grateful that she stayed faithful and got married in the temple, so that my brother and I could be raised in the church. My brother, Elder Gibson, is currently serving in the Denver Colorado South mission. I am very blessed and I am grateful. |
