I was a Spanish speaking missionary, but worked in many bilingual areas. I served in many areas, some twice! In order; Chandler, Mesa, Chandler, Douglas, Tucson, West Phoenix, Elfrida (Douglas).
I married Linda Johnson after her mission to Bristol, England and we have four children two in college, two married with four grandchildren. I worked on Temple square as an audio technician, and recording engineer while attending the U of U for an Engineering Degree. I now work for Control4 Principal Hardware Engineer designing Home automation products. I have also worked at every General Conference broadcast since my mission, just over 32 years now.
My wife and I have recently finished our 1 year mission to the Hispanic Initiative here in SLC. It was a wonderful experience and very much like my full time mission in Arizona. There is nothing like missionary work to put the fire in the belly for the Gospel!
So sad to hear of the passing of President Goaslind, a truly great man!!! All our best to the family and all us who will truly miss him! |
