I have been thinking back on the good ol mission days and how easy life was back then. With marriage and kids life sure changes huh? Well, I would really like to talk to any of my old mission friends. Any of the people in my zones or my companions. I keep in touch with a few but I have some long lost ones too. I recived an e-mail from Sister Workman informing me that it's their turn to stay in Africa this October conference. So there will not be a reunion in October but maybe in April. She will let me know when the time gets closer.

I was wondering if there were any plans for a 'Workman Mission Reunion' this year. My wife and I are planning a trip to SLC, UT, and will be flying down for the Oct. Gen. Conference weekend. We're sure excited to come down and (hopefully) see some of my former companions and meet their families.
If there is anyone who wants to visit us, but won't be able to go to the reunion, we'll be staying at the Best Western Garden Inn from Wed. to Sun. afternoon.

A note to all the Elders and Sisters who served in the best mission in the world...L & L has made its way to the Big Island of Utah!!! Yes, you can get down on your favorite Hawaiian BBQ any time you want. Its located in Provo on Bulldog ave across the street from Provo high school. This is the real deal, I ate there and its exactly the same. Aloha!

Unfortunately I've lost my battle with Leukemia, the doctors have nothing left they can do. I have just a short time left and wanted to let those who served with me or knew me how grateful I am for their dedication to the Lords work. If anyone still lives in the Salt Lake valley area, my funeral will be posted at this link: http://www.legacy.com/DeseretNews/LegacyHome.asp I have received a powerful spiritual confirmation that our Heavenly Father needs me on the other side.
