Comments:
Elder Peterson also suggested that Elder Lowell E. Brown, who was serving as Supervising Elder, be installed as Second Counselor in the Mission Presidency. On Saturday, May 16th, in our missionary meeting, Elder Peterson set Elder Brown apart as Second Counselor in The NFEM.
Former Mayor of Pocatello. Former Q. of Seventy. Released in 2002. We are now living in Lehi following our service in the Second Quorum of Seventy. We have been in both North and South Korea these past several years. Its wonderful to see the maturation of the Church in the South. Families are now the foundation of wards and branches. Its a miracle. Carol is healthy after a bout with cancer. We have been most blessed especially to know all the missionaries we served with.

"Obedience is the price, faith is the power, love is the motive, the Spirit is the key, and Christ is the reason." The motto of the Japan Fukuoka Mission can be applied not only to missionary work, but to everyday life. -BYU President Bateman
