Served as 1C in the Asia North Area Presidency in Tokyo. Called to the Second Quorum of Seventy in April, 2002. Moved to 1st Quorum. Former President of Tokyo South Mission 1990-93. Former President of Sandy Cottonwood Creek Stake (1994-2002). A native of Raymond, Alberta. Attended Ricks College and graduated from BYU. Served as Bishop in Concord, California; and later in Chicago, Illinois. Awarded Ricks College Distinguished Alumni Award for Professional Achievement in 1991.
