Comments: Janet Lang DeMarco, 66, a bookkeeper, of Las Vegas, passed away from breast cancer, Thurs, July 28, 2011. Born Nov. 20, 1944, to Fred Bryner and Adona Thursay Lamb Lang, in LV. Graduated from Rancho HS - 1962 and attended BYU. Personal secretary to Ted Marshall, LV District Attorney. Served a two-year mission in Japan (1966-1968). After her mission, she met the love of her life, Tom. Married in St. George Temple Aug. 29, 1969, just 3 months from the day they met. They moved from Las Vegas for 20 years during which time they lived in Provo, Utah, La Puente, Calif., Cincinnati, and Dallas, before returning to Las Vegas to finish rearing their family. Janet was an accomplished bookkeeper, office manager and small business partner with her husband. Janet's life was defined by service to her family, friends and church. She served as president in all of the auxiliaries in the LDS church. She loved tremendously her six surviving siblings and the sisters and young women in the LDS church. Two of her great passions were researching family history and arranging flowers and decorating for church socials and weddings for family and friends. She was an exceptional mother who lovingly taught her children and grandchildren by example, service and words. Her departing words of advice were, "The most important thing is to have patience, love and forgiveness." Her testimony of the divinity of the Savior and the restoration of His church was unmovable. Janet is survived by her husband, Angelo Thomas "Tom" DeMarco; their 5 children and spouses, Michelle DeMarco-Poulsen (Chad) of Mesquite, Brian Thomas DeMarco (Trisha) of Anchorage, Alaska, David Lang DeMarco (Jena) - LV, Jennie DeMarco Rehder (Ben) of Gainsville, Fla., and Jason Schwartz DeMarco (Gina) - LV; and 18 g'children, with number eighteen being born on the same day of her passing.Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N.
