She was a "greenie" when she was assigned to serve with Sister Elder in Kyoto on August 17, 1967. Sister Stoddard is a good friend of mine from our high school days. We were in the Centinela Ward together and we both graduated from Hawthorne High School (the same class as Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys) in 1960. I served in Kyoto for 6 or 7 months until the end of my mission in March 68. Sister Elder and Sister Stoddard both served there as companions. We used to joke about Sister Elder's name. After my mission I lost contact with them and although I have no further information, there definitely was a Sister Stoddard.
