Presidents: John Langeland (1975 - 1978) | Per Haugen (1978 - 1980) | Served: 1976 - 1978 | Areas Served: "Oslo, Trondheim, Bergen, Tromso, Mo-i-Rana" | Companions: John Pulver | Comments: Hello from western Montana. I am married to Sister Mary Done Meissner, and we just celebrated our 27th anniversary. We have 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls, of which our 21 year old son is just leaving from the MTC for his mission in Oklahoma. I've been blessed with many opportunities to serve in the Church and have just been release as 2nd counselor to our stake president. Life is good! I am currently serving as branch mission leader in our branch here in Seeley Lake.
Our oldest son resides in Missoula with his lovely wife, Jacelyn, and is beginning his ground training to be a helicopter pilot. Our oldest daughter lives in Rexburg with her husband, John, and their son Samuel, our number one grandchild! He is one year old.
As mentioned, our younger son, Andrew, is serving in the Oklahoma, Oklahoma City mission, and leaves shortly from the MTC for that great assignment.
Our youngest daughter, is a student at BYU-Idaho, and is loving college life and all the amenities that attend it (i.e., boys, boys, and boys).
I work for Pyramid Mountain Lumber, Inc. in several different capacities. I manage the saw sharpening department, and I am the IT department! I have worked there for 25 years, and have enjoyed this opportunity.
We would love to hear from you. Please feel free to e-mail us, call us, or simply drop in. We are not far from Glacier National Park, and live near several beautiful lakes and would be glad to give you the grand tour of western Montana! |
