Son of Elder and Sister Humphrey--they just arrived in Norway on August 14th. My father will be serving for the next 1 1/2 years as the Branch President of the Tromso Branch.
My father served in Norway from 1961-63 and followed the advise of the then newly called General Authority Elder Hinckley. According to my father, he promised the Elders that if they said their prayers every night in Norwegian he promised they would never forget the language. He has done so for the past 40 plus years and is now overjoyed to be back in Norway using the language once again. |
