Following my return home, I attended Utah State University, where I eventually received my bachelors degree (BA), majoring in French with a double minor in both Portuguese and Spanish. And no, they didn't offer a Portuguese major, or I would have gone for it.
About a year after going home, I met my wife, and we were married 6 months later. We have two kids and one on the way , due Feb 2001.
A couple months after I graduated I got a call from this company in Michigan, and was eventually offered a job here translating and doing tech support.
I have since been to Brazil once (Rio and Recife) and Mexico 3 times visiting clients, but we don't have any in Portugal (yet - I'm working on that). |
