Life's been good. Sandra did wait for me and we got married 45 days off my mission (Dec 08, 1994). Since then, we both got degrees at BYU and then I went and completed Dental School in Louisville, Kentucky. Graduated in 2001. We then moved to the Oregon coast, but soon realized that although it is absolutely beautiful, it is a better vacation spot then permenant destination. We moved back to Utah (Kaysville) in late 2002 and started "Flynn Dentistry Kaysville". Business is doing well. We now have four kids and expecting our fifth (10, 07, 05, 02, *). We know live in Farmington, Utah.
I have not seen very many people from the mission. Elder Chad Harris (former companion/MTC distric 'Palavra') is also a dentist up in Logan--I see him every year at our dental conventions. I have also seen Aaron Taylor--I believe he works for a Vet Clinic in a managerial/administrative capacity. I have also run into Elder Green(former companion/MTC distric 'Palavra') at the Bountiful temple a few times. I can hardly speak Portuguese now, after 12 yrs.--thats pretty sad, but those of you how knew me, knew I hardly could speak it then!
I would love to hear from anyone that knew me (especially from our MTC distric "Palavra') or knew people I taught in the field. |
