After my mission, I met and married my husband in California. From there, we've moved to Utah, Arizona, upstate New York, and back to California where he finished his Ph.D. We now live here in Buena Vista, VA where he teaches at Southern Virginia Univerisity. Along the way, I've worked in the mortgage industry and had two boys. Erik is 12 and just received the priesthood. Tait is 7 and will be baptized in October. I get to go back to Portugal for the first time this September. I'm looking forward to it. I just taught a lesson in Gospel Doctrine where I described holding church in the theatre in Mindelo. It's amazing that the islands are their own mission now. |
