Comments:
I guess it's about time that I added my profile, considering I'm one of the originals and I've been back for 14 years. After returning home, I finished BYU (1998), majoring in Microbiology. Valyne and I got married shortly thereafter. After a brief stint in Northern Virginia (close to my family), we moved to St. Louis so that I could attend graduate school at Washington University, also studying Microbiology. I received my PhD in 2004, and we moved to New Hampshire where I worked as a post-doctoral fellow at Dartmouth Medical School. And today (August 2009), I am two weeks into my newest job as an Assistant Professor at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). And somewhere along the way, we had three beautiful children, who are now 4, 6, and 8.

Random thoughts: My wife is amazing. New Hampshire is absolutely beautiful. I'm tired of moving and I hope this is the last move I will make. I love my kids! And I'll always remember Rostov. . .

LDS QUOTE:
"You are a great army of returned missionaries. Go forward with new zeal and determination, and through your example shine the light of the gospel in this troubled world. This is the Lord's work in which we are engaged. God lives. Jesus is the Christ. We belong to His Church. This is my witness to you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
- Elder L. Tom Perry
Ensign, Nov. 2001
