Comments: My wife Paula and I were married in February 1982 in the Los Angeles Temple. We started off married life in Las Vegas and are still in Southern Nevada 27 years later. We have 5 children: Adam is 26 and living in Portland, Mandy is 24 living in Idaho Falls and the mother of our beautiful grandduaghter Avery, Mallory is 20 married and living in England, Spencer is 18 living in Tempe, and Zachary is 17.
I am currently serving as bishop of a young single adult ward in Henderson. Previous callings include: high councilor, counselor to three different bishops, YM president, Early-morning seminary teacher (3 years), and many, many years as a Varsity Scout leader.
I graduated in 1985 from UNLV with a degree in Communication Studies. I worked at two different TV stations in Las Vegas and then heeded the call to become an educator. I taught at a junior high for 9 years and have been teaching 8 years at Coronado High School, where I teach English and Broadcast Journalism.
I loved my missionary experience. I constantly think back on the people and places and my heart fills with gratitude and love. I really miss President Wood and would give anything to spend a few minutes with him. I welcome any and all correspondence. |
