Comments:
First - thank you Frere Wood for this wonderful website.
Sorry Elders Wilson, Behrend, Naluai, Jarvis, Fountaine, Bullen, Eccles, Cox and Houle - you too were great companions but the website won't let me add your names to the list.
When I got home I fell in love with a real genuine British nanny who came to work for my Bishop - who's kids called her Mary Poppins. (Hey Elder Carver - she was a Donny Osmond convert so I guess your Donny Osmond door approach wasn't all that bad). We keep going back to the old country but never seem to get across the Channel to France. We have 3 children who are all more grown up than me. I still live 5 km from my grade school in Calgary, Canada. (they have a humanitarian policy that they take down your picture when your own children are old enough to attend the same school you did).
The best job I ever had was to direct the tradesmen in completely restoring the Cardston Temple. I was one back then but don't seem to get many chances to work the tools anymore.
Hey Elder Eaton - my driveway is almost long enough for parking 3 bikes (side by side not end to end) which is once again my major mode of transportation.
On a regular basis I dream dreams of serving missions - sometimes its really strange because I am old and mature but you are all still young. Mostly I dream of serving with my wife. When I was 7 years old my family went on a building mission and I observed that we were truly blessed. I knew then, in my heart that I wanted to be a missionary when I got older. My mission was a marvelous blessing. Thank you all for sharing it with me.
