1979ish missionaries:
Anybody still in possession of the yearbook printed around that time? I see a number of names on this site that I recognize but my memory is shot--would love to associate names with faces. Perhaps some of the group photos can be scanned and uploaded. I'm particularly intested in seeing the first "Geneva School" photo from that era.

To anyone familiar with Paris or with trusted contacts who do, my niece is moving to Paris with her husband and young child and seeks insider info on neighborhoods (particularly in the 19th) church locations (there is apparently conflicting info in the locator) and general safety, cleanlines, etc. If you can help or know someone who can, please contact me.
Thanks,
Scott Knell

I heard Josette Gomila moved near Paris, and was wondering if anyone knows her new address?
Thanks

Hi !
I am Pablo Chinchilla from Switzerland. I was baptized in Neuchâtel in 2000 and received the Melchisedek Priesthood from Elder Dyer at the end of 2000. I am interested in learning about my Priesthood line.
So I am trying to get in touch with him. Can someone help me ?
Many thanks !

Do you mean Daniel Daetwyler? If it is him, then I know him. I can even get you his address. He's originally from Pieterlen, a little town near Biel, Switzerland. I grew up there myself and know his family well since 1970 when I joined the church. His parents are the president and matron of the Swiss Temple at the present.

On www.theultimates.com Derek is listed...
I haven't contacted him yet, but intend to sometime when I get over to St George. He was not my french teacher at the MTC, but he did teach me Sunday School. I always thought he was the most Christ-like person I'd ever known.

A former MTC instructor is trying to track Derek Streeter. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks, Scott.

Can't stay away from France. We arrived in Poitiers October 1 and will be here till mid-December. Even though this city is not in the Geneva mission it is still pretty nice. Ha ha. It is wonderful actually. The people are kind.
Right now I am in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to present at the Asian Pacific Regional Dialogue that is part of the 10th anniversary celebration of the UN's year of the family. Talks have been outstanding. People from many countries and religions are here to promote the family. You should have heard Dr. Richard Wilkins and YB. Dato' Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil. See www.lppkn.gov.my/apfd.
If you are wondering what you can do to stand up for the family, the World Family Policy Center can help you stay updated and give you opportunities to do something. Also, join www.onemilliondads.com or www.onemillionmoms.com. They regularly allow you to sign petitions and keep you informed on improtant issues concerning this fight for the family. Another is the Family Research Council. Just type that into Google and check it out.
I had been trying to find some way to stand up for the family and have found these to be helpful. I hope that they are to any of you who are wishing to be involved to defend the family.
