| Comments: Scott Shields. My Tahitian name was "Mita". I served in the Tahiti Papeete Mission from 2/80 - 2/82 first under President Mack, and then as the first assistant to President Larson. I was married to wife Dorene in the L.A. Temple in July of 1982. We have been blessed with seven children, Nathan (16), Nicole (14), Jordan (12), Amber (9), Jonathan (5), Aaron (3), and Taylor (1) and we're expecting number 8 in February 2000. I have served for many years in the Young Men's program and in Scouting which I love. I also served as 1st and 2nd counselor in the Bishopric, and as the High Priest Group Leader, and currently on the High Council. I am a lawyer practicing law in the areas of personal injury and workers' compensation in California. We live high in the mountains in Southern California in the beautiful small town of Wrightwood right next to Mountain High Ski Resort -- and yes we love to ski all winter!
