http://www.tylerhopkins.com | | Presidents: Merrill C. Oaks (1996 - 1998) | Sander L. Larson (1998 - 2001) | Served: 1998 - 2000 | Areas Served: Lynnwood, Bellingham, Bellevue, Sedro-Woolley, Lynden, Renton North | Companions: Matthew Elias Beckstrand | Steve Briggs | Donny E Martin | Your Occupation: Glazier & Photographer | Spouse: Jessica | Comments: Hi there folks. In the few years, I started college at Idaho State University, where I met my wife, Jessica Waddoups. We were married in the Idaho Falls Temple in 2001. In 2002, I transfered to BYU-Idaho and began working towards a BFA in Photography (I graduated in 2006--six years--Yea Baby!).
Our son, Christopher (Topher) was born in 2002, then on Valentines Day 2004 we were blessed with our little 'Baby Love,' Creedance. Then in May of 2006, only days before graduation, Tyler (T.J.) was born. Our most receint addition was in July of 2009 with our third son, Pearson. They are wonderful children to have in our lives, and we love them more each day.
All the while I have been working as a glazier (I install windows, doors, mirrors, etc.) as I have the skills and the pay is good. Even though this is not where my formal education is (or my true passion), I do enjoy the work I do and I get the opportunity to be a part of remarkable buildings. In fact we are just finishing work on the Rexburg, Idaho Temple. That has been an incredible experience.
I haven't heard from many of the other elders and sisters in a while, but that is mostly my fault. So drop me a line if you know what is happening.
As well as Beckstrand and Briggs, I also served with:
Dusty Smith
Donny Martin
Justin Christensen
Jeremy Nicholes
Eric Michael Slade
Trent Homer
Jared Shupe
Scott Smith
John Tharp II
Jason VanBebber
If you have any news of these men, or are one of them, let me know what is up.
Thanks much |

LDS QUOTE: |
"You are a great army of returned missionaries. Go forward with new zeal and determination, and through your example shine the light of the gospel in this troubled world. This is the Lord's work in which we are engaged. God lives. Jesus is the Christ. We belong to His Church. This is my witness to you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
