Well, life just keeps going! After the mish, I finished up school and started teaching high school choir in Gilbert, Arizona. During that time, I met and married Kevin Brown (isn't he a cutie?). After about 4 years of teaching and about 2 years of married life, we had Gregary. So I became a stay-at-home Mom and started teaching piano and voice lessons from home. It's a pretty great gig...you can name your hours, and it's great pay! :)
In May of 2006, Kevin took a job in Salt Lake, so we moved up to Kaysville and are now "Utah Mormons". We took the opportunity of auditioning for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and made it!! We just did our first broadcast of "Music and the Spoken Word" on Sunday, March 18th. What an exciting experience!!!! We love it!!
I'd love to hear from anyone who remembers me from the good ol' days. Now that I live in Utah, it would be so much easier to see a lot of old mission friends again!! |
