Endowment Schedule

The following information is current as of Wednesday, December 31, 1998 (this information was provided by Pres. R. Dan Farr, second counselor in the Temple Presidency).

Schedule January 11th through January 16th. Pres. Farr indicates the temple will be open beginning Monday, January 11th and will operate that first week from 6:00 AM until 7:00 PM. However, this week is only for patrons from outside the Anchorage and Matanuska Valley areas. The temple presidency has reserved this week for those who have traveled from around Alaska so they can attend the temple for the first time without having to come back to Anchorage. The Temple Presidency is coordinating this with the Presidents of the Juneau, Soldotna, and Fairbanks Stakes, the Alaska Anchorage Mission, and the Bush District. Once everyone from outside the area is accommodated, if there are still openings available, this will be made available to local people on a reservation basis.

Schedule Beginning January 18th. Beginning the week of Monday, January 18th the temple will operate on its regular schedule. Patrons must call the temple and make a reservation to attend. The phone number to make reservations is (907) 348-7890.
