I still keep in touch with my Bergen friends in Norway and have been back to see them on vacation. I also love my tante Else who lives just south of Bergen. I married into a norwegian family by the name of Kleven from Alesund who migrated to American in the early 1900s. Its now a very large LDS family with over 300+ members and growing daily. Almost everyone is active in the church and mostly live in the western state areas. At our last family reunion, last year, we paid tribute to the man Cornelius Kleven who is now passed away and the chapel was overflowing.
I teach in the High Priest group and have served in all the various callings within the ward and love the gospel and the Lord Jesus Christ.
I have 5 children and 14 grandchildren with 3 more arriving next year. I am blessed beyond measure. |
