| A day I will always remember occurred at the mission home in 1974. I prayed so hard for hours in the third floor of the misison home for a family in Halden I worked with many months earlier. During the prayer I recieved the love of God, it filled my entire soul. I got up from my knees, walked over to the window that faced Halden, and I felt this love leave me and transfer to the family and knew what God had just done. Each day thereafter I went to the mission secretary Elder Rowlings and asked him if he recieved the weekly letter from the Halden elders to see if the family was being taught. Then one day the letter came, he opened it to find the family had received 2 lessons already. This was a miracle...this is an example of the love of God that is shed abroad in the world....It was the most wonderful and real feeling I have ever had in my life. |
