Hi Kirk,
Sam Kaipo lives in Auckland New Zealand with his wife Espy and their children. His phone number is +64 9 8183669.
I have kept in touch with him over the years. He was my Zl when I entered the field and traded off together. He has 2 sons who served in Australia and Fiji. I have 2 sons also who served in the same areas. Both Sams and my boys were companions - small world huh?
All the best.

Greetings from Saudi Arabia! I'm presently typing up two years worth of missionary letters that I wrote 32 years ago. It's given me something to do with my time here in the desert. What an incredible experience it was to be a missionary from 1976 to 1978. Looking for old missionary companions. George Williamson - Oroquieta, Alan Bingham, George Koia - Danao, Pat Miller, Allan Downs, John Hunter - Davao, Samuel Kaipo - Zamboanga.
Mahbuhi! Kirk Peterson

Greetings!
I was part of the first group of missionaries that made up the new Philippine Davao Mission. I was working in Davao City at the time. I remember that it was a very exciting time making all the preparations to welcome President and Sister Layton B. Jones to the new mission.
I'm planing on returning to the Philippines April 2010 for the dedication of the Cebu Temple.
I would like to get in contact with members from Davao City and my first area in Oroquieta!
Best wishes, Kirk K. Peterson

There is no definite date as to when the open house and dedication of the Cebu Temple will be but it was announced that the completion of the Cebu Temple will be late this year (November or December) and the open house and dedication will be on the 1st quarter of next year.

Can someone post information regarding the estimated Open House and Dedication of the Cebu Temple next year? This information would be much appreciated as I hope to bring my family back to the Philippines for these events. Thanks in advance.
