Comments: Married Heather Lawrence from Spingville, UT. She was a part time student at BYU and full time stu with United Air. Have 3 boys. Drew in Southlake TX with 5 girls, Ren in SLC, 0 kids, and Broc in Denver, 5 boys. Last summer 05 we were attending a relative's wedding at the Bountiful Temple. The officiator said "Welcome to the Land Bountiful, I'm Elder Rigby..." It reminded me of my companion Elder Larry Rigby who was from the Land Bountiful. After the ceremony I told Elder Rigby I went to So Africa and had a companion whose name was Rigby. He looked at me and said "Were you the boxer?" Admitting I was we had a memorable chat. I contacted Larry and we had a pleasant lunch. He has a commercial appraisal business in Bountiful. A few weeks later I learned the elder Elder Rigby was a World II flying Ace and perhaps holds a record. He shot down 4 German planes in a 45 minute period. A few months ago ELder Gail Uzelac contacted me and said he had met Larry Rigby in the Ogden Temple and got my address. When In SLC for conference we had a memorable visit and learned they have been called as temple missionaries in Joburg. They are leaving in Feb 2012. Currently we are PEF missionaries in Nairobi Kenya |
